Mortgage income is a hypothetical gross figure at an expected plan of about 100 basis points of the loan amount on each eligible funded loan the agent-MLO originates, subject to the compensation plan and to holding an active MLO license sponsored by Ike. Actual earnings vary and are not guaranteed. Commission figures are your own inputs.

How it works

The loan amount defaults to the median originated home-purchase loan in the county you pick, from the public HMDA file, and you can type your own. The commission side is your own numbers. The mortgage side applies an expected plan of about 100 basis points, the shape the pay explainer describes, to the loan amount. The link carries your inputs, so a result can be sent to a colleague, and the embed code puts the calculator on your own site with a credit to Ike.

Earning on the mortgage side requires an active MLO license sponsored by a licensed mortgage company, a written disclosure of both roles and the buyer’s consent, and a state that permits the dual role. The state pages say which do.
